Maternal Spark is now accepting Flash Fiction submissions. Pieces should be no more than 500 words and must be a complete story from beginning to end with characters and a plot. Please note that while Maternal Spark is all about Creative Motherhood - your flash fiction can be about whatever topic you like. In fact, I encourage you to write about something other than Motherhood.

Are you a creative momma? Want to get your story out by being featured on Maternal Spark? Please send me an email with "Featured Mom" in the subject line. Your submission should include your url(s)so I can take a peek at who you are and what you do. Submissions will be reviewed and you will be contacted to further discuss the format for your feature post.

Featured Mom pieces are posted on Fridays and revolve around the Creativity behind the mom. While I'm happy that you are creative and smart enough to start a business, your feature may not necessarily promote that business. My readers really want to hear about who you are as a Creative Mom instead. You will however, receive a link to your website, blog or online store along with your feature.
